Prosthetic treatment
Within the scope of dental prosthetics, our specialists deal with the reconstruction of lost or significantly damaged teeth. Thanks to the materials used and modern technologies, the reconstructions created in our clinic are extremely aesthetic and difficult to distinguish from natural teeth.
PROSTHETIC CROWNS
In the event of severe damage of a tooth when composite fillings are not an option we offer patients prosthetic crowns. Since crowns are permanently attached to the jaw with the use of cement they are durable and do not cause any discomfort. At maxx clinic patients can choose between full ceramic crowns and porcelain fused to metal crowns.
PORCELAIN VENEERS
Maxx clinic also offers great-looking porcelain veneers. These are thin shells bonded to the front part of the tooth. They are applied to eliminate gaps between teeth, hide chipped teeth, correct their shape and alignment, and change shade of the teeth. One of the greatest merits of veneers is their high resistance to discoloration and years-long durability.
POST AND CORE CROWNS
Broken teeth and teeth damaged by caries are reconstructed using a post and core insert made of glass fibre, non-precious metals, or ceramics. The insert is composed of the post and core parts and serves as the anchor for a prosthetic crown or bridge. It allows for great-looking tooth reconstruction after endodontic treatment leaving only the root intact.
PROSTHETIC BRIDGES
This method is used to replace one or more missing teeth. Bridges are composed of prosthetic crowns mounted on adjacent teeth or post and core implants and the bridge span reconstructing the missing teeth. Like prosthetic crowns, bridges are made of different materials.
REMOVABLE PROSTHESES
Where for some reason it is impossible to perform a permanent replacement of missing teeth (bridges or crown implants), patients can avail themselves of removable prosthetic devices. Removable prosthesis types include acrylic partial dentures (anchored on adjacent teeth), acrylic full dentures (for edentulous patients), and frame dentures (made of acrylic on a metal frame, with clasps or clasp-free).
